Commercial Facilities Mobile Maintenance Technician

Great opportunity to join a growing team! This position reports to the Operations Engineer and the Project Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing basic preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and HVAC package units
  • Maintenance work order management/experience
  • Performing minor carpentry repair and painting projects
  • Performing minor roof repairs
  • Performing door repair and adjustments
  • Performing all exterior maintenance work to include picking up trash, sweeping/vacuuming curb areas, keeping mulched areas weed free
  • Supervise and coordinate all vendor work on site
  • Supervise landscape, sweeping and asphalt contractors
  • Ensure all turf and plant areas are watered properly

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience with light electrical and plumbing. General construction experience required including carpentry. Experience in commercial door install, maintenance and repair. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Trade school or related training is desirable.

  • Effective interpersonal skills necessary to deal with tenants
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk on roofs over two stories high
  • Ability to use hand tools and minor test equipment

Commercial Building Facilities Lead Engineer

Join a dynamic and expanding team dedicated to providing exceptional facility services! As a Commercial Building Facilities Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties at an assigned facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician looking to grow within a supportive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and mechanical equipment
  • Manage and complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time
  • Execute minor carpentry, painting, and door repairs
  • Conduct basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Inspect and maintain roofs; perform minor roof repairs
  • Oversee exterior maintenance: trash removal, sweeping, weed control, and upkeep of mulch beds
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site vendor activities and contractors, including landscaping, asphalt, and sweeping
  • Ensure proper irrigation and upkeep of turf and plant areas
  • Supervisory duties

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, general construction, including carpentry, and supervision
  • Proficiency in commercial door installation, maintenance, and repair

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical trade school or relevant vocational training preferred
