A Typical Day for a Facilities Technician
You will be completing preventive and corrective maintenance on all building systems and related equipment – tasks like repairing basic plumbing and troubleshooting issues with electrical, fire protection and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining maintenance logs and completing work orders. You will be assigned to a specific group of properties providing you with the opportunity to build a relationship with the properties’ management teams. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in commercial property maintenance.
Working as an HVAC Refrigeration Tech – Mobile
Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems is key to success in this role. You need to be able to diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment and then recommend a solution to repair. You will also need the ability to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings. HVAC refrigeration certification is required.
